Naomi Boyle Exhibition

Naomi Boyle is a local photographer & ceramics artist. She will be exhibiting a photographic body of work that looks at socioeconomic deprivation, and the strains of dysfunctional relationships in the family unit and uses the iconic Wonder Woman depicted as a poignant juxtaposition between the iconic superhero, Wonder Woman, and the portrayal of a sad, worn-out woman. This interpretation subverts the typical depiction of Wonder Woman as a symbol of strength, empowerment, and resilience. As well as posed photographs, candid shots are taken from our everyday lives.
